Accessibility statement.
Our commitment to keeping this website usable by everyone, the standard we work toward, where we fall short, and how to reach a person instead.
Max Mobile Storage is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that finding a storage solution should not depend on how you navigate the web, and we work to make maxmobilestorage.com accessible to the widest possible audience.
Standard we work toward
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines are the widely recognized standard for making web content more accessible to people with visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and other disabilities.
We also work to align with the accessibility expectations of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. We treat it as part of how we maintain the site.
What we have done
Steps we take to make the Site more accessible include:
- Writing descriptive alternative text for meaningful images so that screen readers can convey them
- Structuring pages with proper heading hierarchy so screen reader users can navigate by section
- Labeling every form field so its purpose is announced by assistive technology
- Designing for keyboard navigation, so the Site can be operated without a mouse
- Maintaining visible focus indicators so keyboard users can see where they are on the page
- Working toward color contrast ratios that meet WCAG AA thresholds for text and interactive elements
- Building pages to reflow and remain usable when zoomed or viewed on small screens
- Writing link text that describes its destination rather than relying on "click here"
- Avoiding content that flashes or auto-plays in ways that could cause discomfort
- Reviewing accessibility when we add new pages or make significant changes
Known limitations
We want to be straightforward about where the Site may fall short.
- Third-party embedded content. The Site includes embedded Google Maps, and links to Facebook and Instagram. We do not control the code or accessibility of these third-party services. If an embedded map is not usable for you, our addresses are written in plain text on every location page and in the site footer, and we are glad to give directions by phone.
- Documents and images of text. Some older images, photographs, or documents on the Site may lack complete alternative text or may not be fully readable by assistive technology. We are working through these.
- Legacy content. Pages created earlier in the Site’s life may not fully meet the standard we hold new pages to. We update these as we identify them.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us.
Alternative ways to reach us
If any part of the Site is difficult or impossible for you to use, you can get the same information, pricing, and service directly from a person. There is no penalty, delay, or reduced service for choosing these options.
