A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. We and our third-party partners use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies on the Site. We use the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for the Site to function, load pages, and submit forms. These cannot be turned off through our Site.
  • Analytics. Help us understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it.
  • Advertising and retargeting. Allow us and our advertising partners to show you Max Mobile Storage ads on other websites and platforms after you visit our Site, and to measure whether those ads lead to inquiries.

Third-party analytics and advertising

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to collect information about how visitors use the Site, including pages visited, session duration, traffic sources, and general device and location data. This information is transmitted to and stored by Google.

We use this data to understand which pages, services, and service areas visitors are most interested in, and to improve the Site.

Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram)

We use the Meta Pixel, a tracking technology provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. We do not send Meta your name, email address, phone number, or message contents through the Site for advertising purposes. You can control the ads you see and limit the use of your activity for ad targeting through your Facebook and Instagram Ad Preferences settings, and through Meta’s off-Facebook activity controls.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. With vendors who perform services on our behalf, including website hosting, form processing, email delivery, analytics, customer relationship management, and advertising. These vendors are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising partners. As described above, our use of the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics involves sharing online identifiers and browsing activity with Meta and Google for advertising and measurement. Under certain state privacy laws, this type of sharing may be defined as a "sale" or as "targeted advertising" even though no money changes hands. You can opt out as described below.
  • Delivery and logistics partners. Where we use third-party drivers, haulers, crane or forklift operators, or subcontractors to complete a delivery or relocation, we share the information needed to complete that job, typically name, phone number, delivery address, and site notes.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers or the public.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove identifying details.

Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect the personal information we collect, including encrypted connections to the Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You submit information to us at your own risk.

If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, contact us immediately at info@maxmobilestorage.com.

The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at info@maxmobilestorage.com and we will delete it.

Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information under laws such as the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, the Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act, and the California Consumer Privacy Act. Regardless of whether those laws apply to us, we will honor the following requests from any Site visitor:

  • Access. Request confirmation of whether we process your personal information and obtain a copy of it.

We may need to verify your identity before completing your request. Verification generally means confirming information you have previously provided to us, such as the email address or phone number associated with your inquiry. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require proof of that authorization.

Appeals. If we decline your request, we will tell you why. You may appeal that decision by replying to our response or emailing info@maxmobilestorage.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

Some browsers and browser extensions transmit an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where we detect a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser and device.

The Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because no common industry standard for those signals has been established.
